Privacy

Presently is built to help you share a photo without building another attention-driven feed. The app keeps your account credentials and photo workflow on your device.

Photos You Choose to Share

A photo remains on your device while it is being prepared. When you post, Presently uploads that photo directly to your AT Protocol Personal Data Server and creates a public Flashes-compatible story record in your repository.

Public Stories and Expiration

Story records are public repository data. Flashes-compatible apps stop displaying a story after its 24-hour window, but public network data may have been indexed, cached, or replicated elsewhere. Expiration is not a promise that every copy is physically deleted.

Your Account

Sign-in happens with your account provider. Presently stores the session and cryptographic keys in your device’s secure storage. The Presently metadata service does not receive your password, access tokens, refresh tokens, private keys, or captured photos.

Local Storage and Your Photo Library

Pending and failed drafts may remain on your device so a post can be retried safely. Saving a separate copy to your photo library follows the preference you choose in the app.

Diagnostics

Presently does not use advertising trackers. If privacy-safe diagnostics are added for beta testing, they will measure app outcomes such as capture or publish success and will never contain photos, tokens, or private keys.
